Andrea Jenson’s mom showed her an article in a Martha Stewart Living about letterpress printing and that was the spark that started it all! Andrea’s letterpress company, Inkadinkadoodle, has been creating letterpress and flat paper goods since 2008, and has become a sister company to Andrea’s commercial printing company, Chain O’ Lakes Litho, which she has owned since 1998.
Located in an old lumber yard in Waupaca, Wisconsin, Inkadinkadoodle creates timeless and tasteful paper goods inspired by vintage ephemera, antiques and nature. The studio houses four antique letterpresses along with more modern presses and equipment to create flat and letterpress paper goods. Andrea’s unique studio gives her a beautiful space for working and also provides a soothing and inviting atmosphere for shoppers to find uncommon goods in the retail store.
When she is not busy with both of her businesses, Andrea likes spending time with her family, friends, and her kitty Emmy; gardening; exercising and bike riding. She loves paper; ink; peonies; neutral colors; anything black, green or chocolate; water; rabbits; jewelry; letterpress printing; anything silver; her sister’s baking; coffee, terrariums; orchids and old houses.
